Mom Pooch – The Belly Rolls Are Real

The Rolls Are Real 😂 A while back, I had run in after run in with:
• where’d your abs go?
• do you photoshop out your cellulite?
• you’re not at fit as your pictures
😩😩😩 since then, I’ve always tried to throw in a pic of reality when I post a posed/flexing photo.
.
Look, for most of the general public, the rolls are there. When we sit, slouch, lean to one side, etc I don’t know why it’s such a big deal anymore, as if, it’s not normal.
.
I can rock a six pack (I swear, looks several rows down in my posts), but you’re more likely to see me bloated & slouched, or if we’re really good friends, you’ll see my shirt pulled up and my kid playing with my rolls. 😂😂 he loves it and says “squishy mommy!” 😂
.
I’ve always had body image issues. But while pregnant with my daughter 9 years ago, i learned to love my body. Well, love it more than I had been, at least. I did everything by the books. Ate properly, exercised, etc. something about gaining weight and watching my belly grow no matter what, helped me learn to appreciate my body.
.
I had learned to accept my body, but my relationship with food struggled.
.
After my son was born 2 years ago, I focused on my mental health in regards to body image and how I handled my food. I finally got the hang of #flexibledieting and my life has changed. At 32 years old, I’ve accepted my cellulite, my wide/box frame, my short tires, and even my big feet 😂😂
.
I want to be a great example to my daughter. She already has a hard time being happy with physical self due to her birth anomalies (VACTERLS for those curious). I want her to be strong & confident, and love the little woman she is growing up to be ❤️ hearing me saying negative things about myself, or anyone else, won’t help her achieve the greatness that I know lie within her
