Fake Jambalaya is Life

Shrimp. Noodles. Cheese. Chicken. Sausage. Cajun. 👌🏼❤️

I flip through Pinterest before almost any meal to figure out what Im going to eat. Im so bored with my own ideas. I eat at home 5 days a week, 3 meals each day. My cooking gets so blah!

I was looking for pasta, and found a decent Alfredo, but then saw Jambalaya! I was convinced that I needed it, until I read the recipe and realized I didnt have half of what it required!

Here’s what I used:
1 serving of pasta
1 serving of Turkey Sausage
1 serving of Colossal Shrimp
3oz Chicken (weighed raw)
1 wedge Laughing Cow (I used Fresco Chipotle)
1/2 serving of Shredded Cheese
Slap Yo Mama Cajun Seasoning

I realize the ingredient list is sort of vague, but the items/brands I used will most likely be different from the ones you use, which means your total grams of each will be different as well. Just use the serving amount according to your package. Obviously, if you want more or less of something, just make the necessary adjustments.

Start by boiling a pot of water and adding the noodles. Next, start to cook up the raw chicken. I like to add the Cajun Seasoning while its cooking, instead of waiting til the end. Once the chicken is almost done cooking, add in shrimp and sausage, then add some more seasoning.
Once the noodles are done, add them to the skillet of meats. Add the laughing cow wedge. It adds a bit of creaminess to to the dish. I have a better outcome when I cut the wedge into pieces. It mixes a lot easier.

Move to a plate/bowl and top with cheese!

Yep, it is that simple!
