  • If only we had a real camera... Whitaker Point in Arkansas is a must! It took us about 3.5 hours from Mid-Mo. I would’ve happily driven much longer! See my previous posts about or early morning trail run to get here 😂 I have an iPhone 6....it still works 🤷🏻‍♀️ Jayson has a 10 and he got some really good photos of our Arkansas trip. But I think it’s time for us to get away from iPhone shots for our trips. What kind of camera do you use or suggest? We don’t need anything fancy.   • Just rehydrating after a trail run at 6:30am Sunday morning. Jayson and I got up at 5:30, left our camper, threw on our headlamps, hit the trail at 6:40, and raced the sun to Whitaker Point. The sun beat us, but barely! Totally worth the spill I took running in the dark! My left shoulder and right knee are feeling it today though 🤦🏻‍♀️ Have you ever been on the Hawksbill Crag trail in Kingston, AR? The “crag” is the rock formation I’m sitting next to in the pic. Hard to see, but check out my previous post to see the whole view! This is just past the incredible site that is “Whitaker Point.” It is a MUST SEE for sure! Totally worth the 40* morning, slip up on the trail, lack of sleep the night before and 5:30am alarm! Thankful for my @idealfit Seamless Long Sleeve that kept my cool and dry under many layers!   • A Dove Grey wedding dress. Thoughts? Ally had another appointment in Columbia today. On our way out, I randomly picked a bridal store off of google, and checked if they had offered walk ins. Thankfully, @bridalbyvows said yes! They had a great selection to choose from and this one caught my eye. Like many others, this looks completely different on a person than when in the rack! Still so in love with the @allurebridals 9620 I tried on first months ago. But, this @kennethwinston Ella Rosa collection, BE505, is probably my 2nd favorite now! I’m typically a 6 or 8 in bridal, and this was a 16. She clipped it up perfectly and made it so easy to imagine what it’d look like altered. Thank you so much for fitting me in last minute today!   • I have been obsessed with grilled jalapeños! I was craving them today, but didn’t have enough to with just the jalapenos to fire up the small grill. So I added a burger. Guess that wasn’t really that much more. Jalapenos Macros: 191 calories 12p 14c 9f Burger Macros: 312 calories 35p 3c 17f Sauce Macros: 17 calories 0p 2c 1f Total: 520cal 47p 19c 27f Heat up the grill with coals on one side. While the coals are heating up, prepare the jalapeños and burger. Burger is simple. Just add 6oz raw 90/10 ground beef. ½ t. of the following: seasoning salt, onion powder, chili powder, pepper, and garlic powder Mix and mold into a patty, set aside For the Jalapeños, slice them long ways. Chop up about 2 slices of bacon and cook in a pan. While the bacon is cooking, in a bowl, mix together: 2oz Fat Free Cream Cheese 7g Shredded Colby Jack ½ t. Onion Powder & Garlic Powder Once the chopped bacon is cooked, pat dry as much of the oil as you can. I normally love grease, but too much grease in these just doesn’t taste that yummy to me. Add it to the mixture in the bowl. Spoon enough of the mixture into each of the jalapeños. I personally like to place my food directly over the coals for a minute or two. Scoot the Jalapenos to the side without the coals, and flip the burger. After another minute or so, scoot the burger over to the other side, and cover the grill. Time will vary depending on how hot your grill is/gets. I’m THE WORST griller, so I’m never consistent. My burger was pretty thick, and took about 8 minutes. I left the jalapeños on for about 14. My sauce is simple. Ketchup, Lite Miracle Whip, & pickle juice!   • Just hanging around... Who has seen “to All The Boys I Loved Before” (@toalltheboysnetflix) currently streaming on @netflix? Ugh. I just adore this movie! I read the first book on my flights to and from Tahoe. Thanks, @jennyhan, for this fun love story! I just started this one, “Always and Forever, Laura Jean.” Normally, I prefer to read the book before watching the movie, but with these books, I saw the movie first. Totally ok with that because I love the Peter (@ncentineo) & Laura Jean (@lanacondor) they have us! Jayson’s working on his book, “Lost On The Appalachian Trail” by #kylerohrig (@nomadic_nuance). We have very different preferences as far as movies or tv shows....or anything in life, really 😂 What do you do to keep yourself from getting bored while out in your stand?   • Alley Spring Mill, 6 miles west of Eminence, MO. Thank you @outsideagainadventures for being our tour guide!⁣ ⁣ A couple weekends ago, Jayson’s dad invited us out to stay the night in a cabin south of town. We had the best time sitting around the fire, reminiscing. I love hearing Jayson and his Dad tell stories about the past!   • Working on perfecting this Chai Tea Latte! I may be spending more time eating the whipped cream out of the can than I am on this recipe 😂 So far, my best concoction is: 1 Chai Tea bag (I used a Vanilla Chai Black Tea) 8oz water 1 scoop of @idealfit Vegan Vanilla Chai 4oz Soy Milk (you can use any type of milk) ☕️ Steep 1 tea bag in 8oz of hot water ☕️ Mix milk with protein powder. Do not hand shake this! An electric mixer will make it so much smother!
